The Blog: Stockton homes for sale

From Bleak to Chic, See Our Recent Stockton Home for Sale Transformation!

Our newest listing on 6933 Sumter Quay Circle has undergone a nice little transformation in its anticipation of being listed on the market for sale.  This Stockton CA home for sale, was well cared for over the years and in preparation of its upcoming sale made some good improvements to help it shine.

The homeowner painted the entire interior with a neutral color, cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms and made sure the carpets were freshly cleaned.  It was a painstaking process as one of the rooms had dark wood paneling.  And if you have ever painted wood paneling, then you know how tedious of a paint job it is.

Once the owner was finished, I suggested adding the finishing touches to all of her hard work by adding some staging.  The transformation of the home was remarkable.  See the before and after pictures below.

Our Newest Listing has been Transformed!

Stockton CA:

Our newest listing on 9744 Fountain Valley Way, Stockton CA, 95209 went through some eye-catching changes before it become on the market.  This home was built in 1988 and our client is the original owner.  The home located in the Stonewood Estates community in Stockton, is in great shape, but over the years the owner, like many of us do, retained a lot of unnecessary items including furniture, accessories and then some.

We suggested a lite staging in order to make his home shine its best when it was listed for sale.  He was open to the idea.  Our client need a lot of help getting his home ready for sale. Some of the changes and staging we helped with in order to get his home ready were:

  • Added New sod in the back and plants in the front
  • Removed unused and extra furniture
  • Removed date window coverings
  • Added fresh linens in the bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Hung artwork, some provided by his wife whom was a painter
  • De-cluttered the kitchen and bedrooms of any un-needed items
  • Added pillows and decor to bedrooms and bathrooms

Newly Listed Home in Stockton goes From Eye Sore to Eye Catching

David McKeever, a Stockton Realtor, and his team have put in some hard work, time and energy into helping their clients of 2901 Wagner Heights Stockton, transform their home from eye sore to eye catching.

When Keith and Richard Munoz lost their father Peter this year, they wanted to sell their fathers home.  They contacted David to help them prepare and sell their Stockton house.  He immediately realized the good quality of the home, however, it just didn't show its best.  "The home looked dated, dark and uninviting."  David, the real estate broker at McKeever Real Estate in Stockton recommended a "lite staging" to make the home more sell ready.  The Munoz's  agreed and took the advice of David and his team to make it look more appealing to home buyers in today's real estate market.

They had the home cleaned, brought in some fresh linens, window coverings and were able to use many of the pieces of furniture that was already in the home.  There wasn't a need to bring in all new furniture.  Only two pieces of furniture were brought in, a couch and a chair used in the bedroom.

Take a look at our before and after photos and let us know what you think? Want to transform your home in an inexpensive way, prior to it being sold?  Contact David McKeever and his team for a free consultation.
